Up.the genre of the film "Up", is an adventure, fantasy ands action animated children's film.the content of the opening scene involves a number of things. firstly, characters are introduced to the audience such as Carl the elderly man and his wife to be Ellie. the opening scene shows these characters in their youth. there is also a title sequence and the first scene in shown in black and white which indicates that the start of the film is set in a olden time era. the opening scene of "Up" is also engaging. this attracts the audience right from the start and makes them want to continue viewing the film.
